2024, a Year of the Turning Point for GOLDEN DOOR, and the Year of the Dragon. 132 gifted and purpose-driven leaders and ambassadors will join, either in person or virtually, all fired up to transform a grand vision into a reality. 

Our utmost gratitude to Prof Tommy Koh, Diplomat Par Excellence for being among the first to endorse GOLDEN DOOR back in 2018, when it was only a concept. What a tremendously rewarding journey it has been since then.

This cause is in honour of the late Taher Amir Khan (1940 - 2020), a highly respected and renowned Singaporean philanthropist and businessman, who made significant contributions to the Singapore Community Chest and multiple charities in the country's formative years. 

Since the FIRST GOLDEN DOOR event in September 2020, we have been working tirelessly to make the grand vision REAL, and so we embarked on an intense 4-year journey.

3 marathon virtual conventions later involving over 100 carefully curated speakers, the upcoming Golden Door Gala Dinner & Awards will be an evening of celebration, recognition and preparation of what is to come - your unique opportunity to immerse yourself with the empowered. 

At the event we will have courageous Writers, Speakers and Visionaries from across 5 continents - with notable examples from Singapore, Malaysia, India, the Netherlands, USA, UK, Sweden, Australia, Cameroon and amongst so many.

Men and women traversing through the "Joseph Campbell's Hero's Journey" of their own, from the "upside down" world into a region of wonder - on the other side of the GOLDEN DOOR.

They all had one thing in common. They were aligned to the vision of creating societies, based on the foundational value of truth & integrity - leading to trust.

We are privileged to have Joanne Flinn, Chair of Singapore's ESG Institute, as the Chief Judge for the awards. With her presence, the Finalists and Winners of the Golden Door Non-Fiction Book Award and the Golden Door Poetry Award will be announced.

In November 2023, we completed our 3rd year gathering authentic voices together.

The Former European Commissioner for Transport, Dr HC Violeta Bulc (Slovenia), Former Civil Servant Richard K Tan (Singapore) and Former Nominated Member of Parliament Viswa Sadasivan (Singapore) were among the names of people who participated in the stream of virtual panels.

During this upcoming in-person event in Singapore on March 24th, attending hosts and panelists will be presented with their well-deserved Participation Certificates which commend their involvement in these thought-provoking and action-oriented panels.
