Creating Societies of Trust
All relationships, including our own relationship with ourselves, are based on trust.
A belief that we and people around us are good, honest, sincere, with integrity, say what they mean, mean what they say and will not trick, harm, exploit or use you. Differences of gender, colour, religion, financial and social status will be respected at all costs.
However, we have witnessed societies broken down by the breach of trust leading to poverty, sickness, disunity and overall strife - the aggravation of a “thing-oriented’ society that places a lesser value on human beings.
If we work collectively to establish frameworks of trustworthiness, married with the right infrastructure, going beyond net-zero for human and environmental health, the true nature of the human and his/her environment can be realised. '
Our mission is for human advancement, by forming ecosocieties that understand this intimately, the essential foundation of all economics leading to prosperity.
How Did We Begin?
We began by establishing an international award to raise and recognize courageous people who write based on the values of truth and integrity. On the 20th Feb 2020, the initiative Golden Door Awards was recognized as the WORLD's First in Asia One, HRM Asia and the Market Insider (read more in the News segment).
This led to the formation of an initiative to encourage generative dialogues that unite these leaders and help birth creative solutions. The Golden Door Forum. Followed on by the birth of the Golden Truths Institute, to form leaders for the rebuilding of a better society.
Subsequently, this all came together to be part of a human-centric ecosystem, the Through The Golden Door EcoSocieties initiative, our utopic vision for a truly world-class decentralized ecosociety.
Where Are We Now?
As of today, more than 100 prominent speakers, truth-writers and truth-creators from over 25 countries have come together in unity in the past GOLDEN DOOR events.
THROUGH THE GOLDEN DOOR ECOSOCIETIES FOUNDATION (TTGD) aims to be a nonprofit organisation dedicated to encouraging the values of truth and integrity in society and business, through the written and spoken word, in order to create societies and nations of trust.
The THROUGH THE GOLDEN DOOR is a global initiative conceptualized in Singapore in 2018, founded by a multicultural panel of community advisors from all walks of life. Steps are being taken for it to be formally established.

Founder
Futurist, visionary and author of the book "Through The Golden Door : The Doorway to Our Advancement". A former technologist for 20+ years, she has advised the Singapore and Qatar governments on e-governance frameworks.
Joanne Flinn

Keynote Speaker, Bestselling Author of the book "GreenSight", Board Advisor based in Singapore. Joanne works with critical and C-Suite challenges through integrating the environment and sustainability into organisations and results.
Rob Salisbury
Senior Judge, Golden Door Awards
Predominately engaged as a large scale conference speaker, sales trainer, event MC and presentation evaluator, Rob has been involved with over 600 clients and over 2100 organisational events to bolster employee results and company objectives. He is based in Singapore.
Dr Kirpal Singh

Poet, literary and cultural critic, as well as former university lecturer, Kirpal is a powerful voice in Singapore’s creative and literary circles. He is the author of ‘Thinking Hats and Coloured Turbans: Creativity across cultures’.

An internationally recognised educational leader and consultant. She developed the ground-breaking and life-changing 'Arini Method' to help children understand how to make wise choices from an early age. Dr Arini is based in France.
Dr Charanjit Shah

With over 50 years in the industry, he is affectionally called the “Airport King of India”. A multi-award winning and practicing Architect, Planner, Author, Scholar, Educationist, Teacher, Art & Architecture Critic and in creating sustainable green architecture. In his later years, Mr Amir became best known as a humble advocate for unity in diversity. He dreamed that societies would transform so that trust would become mainstream.
There are significant benefits to humanity in beginning a movement to transform the implementation of values in practice. They help society to form thoughts, words and actions. Values help people grow and develop, and help create the future that people want to experience.
Every individual and every organization is involved in making hundreds of decisions every day. Make trustworthiness the foundation of a person's or a community's values and beliefs, and the decisions made will be a result of that. It will lead to unity, peace, harmony and prosperity.
Trust is an essential component of a free, democratic society. Faith in the process of laws and elections leads to a decrease in violence, an increase in social programs, and a willingness to sacrifice temporary individual interests in favour of collective societal interests.
A trustworthy leader has integrity, combined with competence, consistency, loyalty and transparency.
"The 1000 Leaders of Truth & Integrity" program which is run by the Golden Door Forum, and TruthCreators Certification Program by the Golden Truths Institute are two examples.
Furthermore, the trustworthiness of new technologies such as AI is an issue currently arousing considerable concern for governments, academia, business and the general public alike. It is becoming widely acknowledged that deep ambivalences lie at the heart of contemporary technological developments in the future of society.
On the whole, our objective is to protect the human race. We will not only create awareness of these issues, but also bring resolution through the various initiatives.
We must rapidly begin the shift from a "thing-oriented" society to a "person-oriented" society. When machines and computers, profit motives and property rights are considered more important than people, the giant triplets of racism, materialism, and militarism are incapable of being conquered.
